Luxurious wallpapers

I'm a sucker for feature walls - you know the trend of having one wall in a room wallpapered in some damn fancy gorgeous wallpaper? Well, I know it's probably considered a little naff these days, but I don't care. I still love it. There are some extraordinary wallpaper designers out there who have kind of turned the whole thing into some form of high art.
Tell me if I'm wrong:

How lovely is this wysteria pattern!
It is designed by the talented Cole&Son. Here are a few more of their more unusual designs:

An amazing wallpaper artist (and also a singer, performer and boutique fashion shop owner among other things!) was Florence Broadhust. Check out this delicate pattern - I love it in the bathroom!

Here is some of her work featuring models with matching body paint! (by the very talented Emma Hack)

And if you are looking for a DIY approach - I found these cool large wall stencils that creates a beautiful classic pattern. It's cheaper than actual specialised wallpaper and is reuseable, safe and non-toxic. Click on the pictures below for more info.
And then there is a company called Harlequin with some cool designs:

A more unusual variation on the wallpaper theme is created by Beware the Moon. their designs are kooky and yet still rather beautiful.I love their skulls collection:

Another artist with designs full of character is Studio Ditte. They specialize in quaint vintage patterns. they have some great ones for kids' bedrooms:

I have a total thing for sunken lounges. They were damn cool in the 1960s and they are still ridiculously sexy, in my opinion. Practical too. When I build my dream home it will definitely feature a few of these.
Feast your eyes on this exotic interior from the 60s:

And for something a little more Barbarella and psychedelic:

And now for the more streamlined modern takes on the same theme:

I absolutely love this one... the colour theme of the cushions and carpet is such a great touch:

And for the final one, just sit back and breathe deeply.
Close your eyes and imagine you are here... without a care in the world...sipping on a singapore sling or a coconut guava margarita!
